XP Computer locks up with a solid black, yellow, green, or blue screen with no text. Must be powered down.?

I have a dell desktop pc running windows xp pro and it fairly often (daily) will completely lock up and most of the time is a solid black screen. Sometimes it is mustard yellow, bright green, blue or even solid white. Never any text on the screen, numlock is still lit up and won't change, caps lock won't enable, ctrl alt del does nothing. I think even power button stops responding and it has to have power cord unplugged. It had a power supply replaced recently and was doing this before and after, have checked and changed ram out. Windows already is up to date but I also did bios updates and everything available from Dell. Does this sound like a video card problem or cable? I would think it would be windows since the monitor works it just seems like output to monitor is bad, and with keyboard not working make me think it is software related? Why am I so full is the diet working?

So in the couple of weeks I've dramatically changed my diet, and started exercising more. Ok so I'm having issues with my fianc�, we live with her parens, and for the last month now we get up, and she heads right upstairs to her moms room, and stays up there until midnight if not later. Hello, I am 17 years old and this anger has been building inside of me for years. I am seething mad at my abusive and neglectful mom, how my childhood has been relatively wasted, and how she could get away with it all. First, PLEASE, NO GUSHY SYMPATHY, just advice. I don't like that kind of attention, and the details are just examples of where my anger is coming from. Mom is incredibly immature and irresponsible, and can always find someone else to blame for her mistakes. All my life, our house has been cramped with her clutter, and incredibly filthy. The floors are caked with filth, and she leaves trash everywhere. She allows her many precious dogs to crap and pee all over the floor (we have 6 dogs--she allowed them to breed and at one point we had 9, sharing a house w/ 5 people. The noise and filth was unbelievable.) When I confronted her about it (we never wanted any of the dogs she brought into the house, let alone to breed) she screamed that it wasn't her fault, and said, "Fine then! If you want them out of here so bad, then I'll just take them to the vet and have them killed!" Whenever she is cornered about something, my mom makes some kind of extreme claim like the latter, and threatens suicide often. She made my childhood hell. I was fed mostly fast food and junk food, and I became underweight, thin and very sick by 4th grade. My dad worked 3 jobs to support the family, so he wasn't around very much and I was left with her. I was mostly isolated as a little kid, not allowed to do sports or afterschool things, and not allowed to have friends over (because of the messy house). Once she threw my sister and I out of the house when I was about 7, my sister 10. She dropped out of nursing school to pursue crazy, unrealistic and unreliable jobs such as breeding dogs/goldfish, taping dog shows, spinning dog hair into yarn and knitting sweaters with it, web design, selling kayaks, etc. She has run up tens of thousands of dollars in her latest escapade (selling dolls) and has extorted no less than $50,000 from my father (ironically, this is the tuition for the premedical universityI want to go to. Now, I must pay for college all on my own, since my father has told me he has no money left) because she got tied up in credit that put our house at stake for forclosure. When she feels like it, she will pick out something stupid and insignificant about me (like my hair, my clothes, my shoes, the way I talk on the phone, the way I walk across the room), or simply make something up. A common occurance: She will walk in the room, I will say hello to her, and she will walk by without a word and sit down. Then, she will lay into me about how I never greet her when she walks in! When I am sick, or in distress, she mocks me. Once, when I was 15, she demanded that I accompany her on a 3 or 4 day long kayak trip as her shore crew, and that I would have to hitch-hike car rides with strange men to get to each checkpoint. When my father confronted her about it, she loudly denounced him and screamed at me in my face that I was a "coward, running to her father". Once, when I told her dog urine from the floor had been splashed into my eyes and that they were sticky and burning the day after, she didn't even blink, or care. She has often said, "I'm not your mother!". When she gets in a rage, my mom will scream insults and throw things. She shook me one time, when I asked her to pick her clothes up off the floor. Despite never having made a real income her whole life, leaching off my father, she criticizes me for having my dad pay for school trips, etc. I am a full time student, I take many AP classes, I am the 1st chair french horn player at my school's top band, I have won many essay contests (including one where I got to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in DC), I am in the top 1% of my class, a member of NHS, the president of my school Speech & Debate team, etc, just for starters. Ironically, mom loathes me because I didn't drop my extracurriculars to work for her business (she can't afford employees), and rails at my father to make me drop things. Mopani wood killed fish?

I boiled mopani wood for hours until water looked clear and then let it cool. I then put it in the tank. All my levels were fine before the wood. We moved into a house that the landlord had given up on long time ago. we agreed to repair the house. Being?

Can a snake be used to remove a blockage in any drain in the house?

We have continual back-up into the bathtub of filthy water whenever we use the washing machine or drain a full sink in the kitchen. We live on one level in central Maine. We have city water but a septic tank and presumably a leach field. We had a plumber come to pump out the septic tank, but he said it was not even 1/3 full, that our problem is a "clogged leach field". I understand that may be the problem, but wonder if maybe there is something clogging the pipes. Running with dogs? what breeds are best?

i was thinking not anytime real soon but when i move out. of getting a dog(:: and using him as my running buddy! im a very dedicated runner and i love dogs. but i also know certain breeds have joint problems. my mother has two huge german shepards. one has hip dysplasia and the other wont walk a 1/4 mile without just laying down in the road and sleeping. hes 100lb dog. i cannot just drag him along. so i was wondering what breeds were better built for running. god knows i do not want to be responsible for over running my dog i would feel terrible if it just fell over and died. and no i do not want to sound cold hearted about this in anyway. besides dogs are better company than silly boys! I've decided to no longer put myself or for that matter ourselves in these positions anymore to be held responsible for the fact that a 30 year old who is capable or waitressing, working at McDonald's or whatever refuses to get a job and instead just leaches off me and then is mean to me when I say no. Mouth burning when eating?

You know that bit of extra skin inside the corner of your mouth that people like to bite sometimes? Well, I bit down on it quite a lot after getting into a habit of it, and it got pretty swollen and chewed up very bad. But this one is different, when I eat anything acidic, (e.g. Apples, oranges, ketchup, mustard, pickles, tomato sauce) I will experience the most awful burning pain when it comes in contact with that part I chewed up, and it makes it hard to eat anything. I never noticed how salty or acidic our day-to-day foods were until now (yes, salt hurts it very bad too, as well as soda). So i know the culprit, but I wonder if you guys have any suggestions on how to help it? Or will i just have to let it heal?

What do you do when your child is being bullied by the coach on High School Basketball team.?

My son is on the JV basketball team and the coach curses, tells him he sucks, he's worthless, he should play like a black kid, etc.... I played high school and I understand you have to take a little of this abuse but the other kids are starting to gang up on him and bully him physically as well. As a parent I want to punch the coach in the face but I was wondering if someone had a better course of action? Just learn to relax and be easier on yourself. You're panicking too much. Maybe try to see your doctor and see if he can give you some meds to help with anxiety? That's what helped me. First let me say that unless you are gay, it is virtually impossible to start out as friends and not ending up falling in love. People think "sex" equals love, but NO.
