Is it Possible to "repair" a failed leach field of a septic system?

All signs point to the fact that my leach field is saturated and has failed after 11 years. I know that I need to extend the leach field. However, I cannot afford to do so at this time. Are their any "tricks" to help my field repair itself?... At least for the short term?
