Are we willing to admit we have lost our fu**ing minds?

In a few weeks the Casey Antony murder trial will be starting, my question is have we lost our minds and lost control of when the state should ask for the death sentence? I occasionally watch that media whore Nancy Grace and to think that the way she makes money is to exploit people who have some type of a tragic criminal event happen to them, wow what a leach she is..I know nothing more than any other regular slob does but it just doesn't make any sense that this case should be a death penalty case. Sure a toodler went missing and turned up dead, the mother gave very bizarre storys that turned out to not be true. How in the world did the state decide on the death penalty in this case and the public seem to support this move. I bet that when this case is over and done with it will be revealed that the child died due to neglect of the mother not a sinister plot to kill her child. So the question is how do we allow ourselves to swallow this garbage every time without thinking about it for a minute.
