Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Question Survival Viewer?

Alright so I noticed that for a short while when I had Snake eating a snake or curing himself of a leach, a small video pops up on the side showing what he's doing. It then stopped coming up after I accidentally pressed X. Is there a button I can press or something I can do to bring that video back up? I don't see anything in the Snake Eater manual...so I don't know if this is new with Subsistence..
