Composite Bondings and Chipping/Teeth Grinding?

I was curious as to whether this is possible. For instance, I grind me teeth quite a lot, especially at night. Could this grinding be chipping fragments of the composite bondings or fillings? Also, Could this be unhealthy, releasing Bisphenol-A into my body? Do the stomach acids dissolve and release the chemicals once kept in tact by the heated lighting? Or would the body just excrete the bondings/filling particles without any leaching. If so, provide evidence as to why it wouldn't cause leaching, as my gut tells me it would..
